Dudes and dudettes! Welcome to the online home page of Radio ReBoot. For three years, Radio ReBoot was the only 90s-exclusive regular radio program to air on college radio. DJ Smyles and a rotating group of co-hosts (including the talents of DJ Kansas, DJ Spiz, DJ TURK, Jason, DJ JD, DJ Bags and others) brought a piece of the 90s back to the airwaves from September 2008 to May 2009, and again from September 2010 to May 2012. Every Sunday night they would play the top alt and indie hits from the most bodacious decade of all time, and discuss the most pivotal 90s cultural topics. They even interviewed some of the most influential people of the 90s.

Though the show might be over, Radio ReBoot’s legacy lives on with The Radio ReBoot Feed, a podcast featuring condensed episodes of the show and its interviews with 90s luminaries. Check it out to your right and make sure to subscribe via Podbean or iTunes.

We’re calling it Stoked Madness.

We’ll be revealing all the songs and matchups in our 64-song bracket beginning tonite, but to tide you all over, here are the top seeds in the tourney.

In the Midwest region, “1979″ by Smashing Pumpkins is at top.

In the West region, “Californication” by Red Hot Chili Peppers reigns supreme.

In the Northwest region, “Gold Soundz” by Pavement looks to kick competition to the, well, pavement.

And in the Southeast region, “Losing My Religion” by R.E.M. will try and make all other songs lose.

From the dawn of time, humans have faced many philosophical questions that generations of scholars and thinkers have attempted to resolve. Since we came out of the trees and caves, we’ve asked ourselves such eternal riddles as “why are we here?”, “where do we go when we die?” and “who ate the last of the nachos?” Dude.

But Radio ReBoot is here to resolve a question that has confronted civilization for decades: what is the greatest 90s song of all time? For the next five weeks, and with the help of all you bodacious listeners, Radio ReBoot will name the best 90s song ever! We’re calling it Stoked Madness.

We’ve taken suggestions from listeners, studied the charts and diagrams, and chugged lots of purple stuff and Sunny D, and now we have a 64-song bracket of the best 90s songs out there. Just like March Madness, two seeded songs will face off at a time until we get a winner. (Also like March Madness, this’ll probably cause riots.)

But we need your help. Remember to follow Radio ReBoot on Facebook to cast your vote as polls pop up. Whatever song wins the fan vote will move on to the next round. Or you can vote in the polls on this site!

Listen in to Radio ReBoot on April 1st at 8 PM Eastern to hear the unveiling of the first part of the bracket, and check back here and on Facebook for the full bracket!
